WASHINGTON, D.C. - Washington Mystics guard Ivory Latta received Eastern Conference Player of the Week honors for the first time this season for her performances against the Connecticut Sun, Tulsa Shock and Atlanta Dream. It is the fourth Player of the Week recognition of Latta's career.
In Washington's 89-75 win over the Sun, Latta scored 23 points and dished out six assists. She followed by leading the team to an 82-77 win against the Shock, scoring 17 points and adding four assists. Latta closed out the week with a 21-point, six assist and six rebound performance during the team's 77-67 victory against the Eastern Conference leaders Atlanta Dream. The win against the Dream propelled the Mystics to second place in a tightly-contested conference.
